about

ABOUT

MY CLINIC

For more than 30 years, Patrick has had the pleasure to work with some amazing people and to assist hem in nursing their much loved pets back to health. At Vet On Call, we understand that seeing your furry friends in pain can be a very sensitive time. It gives us great pleasure to help them in their time of need. Animals don not have a voice and this can be extremely upsetting when trying to assess what is causing them pain.

Trust Vet On Call to be with you promptly and to create a comfortable and trusting atmosphere for your pet to relax whilst it is being treated. We have experience working with troublesome pets.

Over the years we have found that to keep your pet healthy and safe a few basic rules need to be followed:

  • Consult with your vet to make sure your pet has received the necessary vaccination to protect them in their everyday life.

  • Keep your pet fit with regular walks and making sure they are receiving the correct amount of food at scheduled interval sot prevent them from becoming overweight.

  • Neuter your pet at aged 5-7 months.

  • Microchip your pet and enter their details on the Irish Pet Database in case they are ever to wander from the nest.

  • Protect your pets from discomfort by making sure to keep fleas at bay as well as treating any itchy patched early.

  • Worm your pet regularly to make sure it stays happy and healthy.

  • Exercise your pet regularly.

  • Speak with us about your pets teeth to keep them from any discomfort around their gums.
